As an Office Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers, evaluating items for purchase, collecting proper identification, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll need to be professional, organized, and comfortable handling high-value merchandise and in-store transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional manner
- Evaluate items customers bring in to sell (electronics, jewelry, etc.)
- Collect and verify a valid photo ID for every purchase transaction (required by law)
- Accurately enter customer and item data into the inventory system
- Explain pricing and ensure the customer understands the sale process
- Answer phone calls, emails, and company messages
- Handle cash and operate a basic POS system
- Maintain organized records of all transactions
- Clean, package, and store items properly
- Keep the office clean, organized, and presentable
- Report updates and issues to management throughout the day
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office work, retail, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
- High School diploma required; some college preferred
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Ability to handle high-value items with care
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.02 - $27.92 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
