This program will provide continuing education and develop the candidate with the right experience to obtain their Oregon LME license while learning the skills of the trade on the job.
Position Overview
The Facilities Electrical Apprentice will be involved in on-the-job training and education scheduled in the classroom or online while under the direction of the electrical team for line and low voltage electrical-related work. The apprentice will work to maintain and help ensure the safety and reliability of our buildings and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate has a strong electrical/mechanical skill set, critical problem solving and risk management capabilities, and works as part of the Meadows operations team to deliver first class service. It helps if you think working on the side of a volcano in the snow, ice, rain and wind adds just that special element of fun and challenge to your day. Come join one of the finest operations crews in the ski industry on iconic Mt Hood.
This is a full-time, year-round, benefited position

Qualifications & Experience:
- 19 years of age or older for company insurance purposes
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of high school algebra with grade C or better
- Verifiable mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Must commit to 5 years with the company
- Ability to climb/work at substantial heights in all kinds of weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, ice, snow, etc.)
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication and guest service skills
- Able to commit to work weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season
- Ability to pass driver background check
- Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
- Starting Wage: $22.94 Hourly
