Plus, enjoy perks like discounted lift tickets and the chance to work where others vacation!   Position Overview The Junior Accountant supports the Accounting department by performing clerical tasks, general ledger account reconciliations, posting journal entries, maintaining financial records, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.   The position is hybrid-remote and required to work on-site at Mt. Hood Meadows a minimum of two days a week or as directed by the Controller. The functions of this role may require overtime during peak financial periods, such as tax season or year-end closing.   Qualifications & Experience 18 years of age minimum High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred Minimum two years’ experience in accounting or related field Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and handle confidential information This position is subject to background screening Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business Professional communication and interpersonal skills   Preferred Qualifications & Experience General Ledger Experience Cash Receipts Reconciliation NetSuite experience   Compensation: Starting Wage: $23.00 Hourly Perks: Year-Round Housing Available. Subject to Availability Ski/Snowboard Season Pass for employee and qualifying dependents Don't Ski/Snowboard?
