What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kindergarten Teacher position at Mt. Lebanon Extended Day Program?
Exciting opportunity to work in our kindergarten enrichment program. Programs are located in the Mt. Lebanon schools. Available shift is 11:00am-6:30pm M-F, during the school year and in the summer program. The program focuses on the social/emotional learning of the children through recreational games, STEAM activities, arts & crafts, and other engaging projects. If you enjoy working with elementary aged children, this job is for you.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
- Set up for daily scheduled activities
- Assist children with homework assignments
- Facilitate STEAM related clubs and activities for a group of up to 12 children
In addition to the above responsibilities an ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for working with kindergarten age children
- Be enthusiastic and engaging with children
- Enjoy working with a team of other teachers
- 2 years experience working with children
- High School Diploma, CDA, associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred
