Lead Warehouse Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Our objective is to hire a candidate with a desire to grow with our business. The individual will be develop from a Lead-associate position to a supervisor trainee then to a full warehouse supervisor with more responsibilities and higher compensation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks and verifying shipments.
• Assist in receiving Containers, offloading, building pallets, label, scan and put away completed pallet
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy in our WMS.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals within the distribution center.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling materials.

Skills

• Experience with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations is preferred.
• Proficient in forklift operation with valid certification.
• Understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of Warehouse WMS Software or similar inventory control systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
