An array of services: Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a unique therapeutic Summer Camp for Youth with Autism. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost-effective services for adults and children.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate, and steward current and prospective partnerships with corporations, businesses, foundations, churches, and community and civic groups.
- Recruit, coordinate, and ensure training and onboarding for volunteers.
- Manage volunteer outreach platforms: Volunteer Match, United Way, Hands On Twin Cities.
- Provide outreach to potential funding partners and coordinate volunteer engagement projects.
- Document and track interactions with partners in the Donor Perfect database.
- Create and implement agency policies and procedures related to community engagement, including an annual calendar, to ensure health and safety, recognition, clear communication, etc.
- Lead planning and execution of volunteer appreciation events and activities.
- Lead MORA event volunteer planning and execution
- Support the successful execution of MORA events
- Setting up the necessary software
- Gathering and soliciting donated items
- Organizing vendors, attendees, and staff
- Communicating updates and changes
- Represent MORA at corporate, church, and community events
- Attend and support the Board Development Committee
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited educational institution or demonstrably equivalent knowledge gained through alternative courses of study and life experience.
- At least 5 years of nonprofit work experience engaging local groups, coordinating volunteers, and coordinating events.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-motivated/self-directed
- Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
- Database management experience
- Able to be flexible with location, schedule, and approach, including occasional nights/weekends
- Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain “qualified” status
- If using own vehicle for company business, must have a valid driver's license and insurance as required by state law.
