The Radiology Technologist will perform x-ray examinations using various modalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires collaboration with radiologists to obtain optimal image quality. Responsibilities Include:
• Performing x-ray examinations using fluoroscopy and other modalities
• Preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures, and providing reassurance
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of patient data
• Developing and implementing continuing education programs to stay current with industry advancements
Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiological technology
• Successful completion of registry examination
• One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist
• Minimal Certified (ARRT) (R)
• Prefer ARRT (R)(CT)
