Facilities Maintenance Technician

This position requires flexibility to travel between all four locations as needed to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.

General Maintenance & Repairs

• Inspecting and repairing plumbing systems (leaks, clogged drains, faucets, toilets).
• Performing minor electrical work (changing light bulbs, resetting breakers).
• Repairing or replacing damaged flooring, doors, and fixtures.
• Touch-up painting and patching walls as needed.
• Checking and replacing air filters in HVAC systems.
• Ensuring restrooms are stocked and functioning properly.

Facility & Equipment Maintenance

• Monitoring and maintaining medical office equipment and furniture.
• Keeping waiting areas, exam rooms, and hallways free of hazards.
• Performing routine maintenance on HVAC, lighting, and emergency systems.
• Assisting with the setup of office furniture and medical equipment when needed.

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Ensuring common areas (lobby, hallways, restrooms) are clean and well-maintained.
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and handling minor bio hazard cleanup if required.
• Managing waste disposal, including medical and hazardous waste compliance.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensuring OSHA and health regulations are met in maintenance work.
• Inspecting emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and safety signs regularly.
• Addressing any safety hazards promptly, such as spills or trip hazards.
• Reporting security or maintenance concerns to management.

Inventory & Supplies

• Keeping track of maintenance tools and supplies.
• Ordering and restocking essential maintenance and cleaning items.

Emergency Response

• Responding to urgent maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinating with external contractors for major repairs when needed.
