Principle Clinical/Technical Duties

- Renders professional quality care for employees according to the policies and procedures of the employee health service.
- Creates, updates, and maintains current policies and procedures according to the licensing, organizational, and other regulatory requirements.
- Orders needed supplies within the approved budget.
- Tracking and follow up of all required employee health testing as required by licensure agencies.
- Follow-ups on all ICA, on-the job injuries, needle stick injuries, and reports to Human Resources.
- Files reports to the Workers Compensation carrier for all workplace injuries.
- Works with the Benefits Coordinator to manage extended absences caused by work related injuries.
- Works with providers and injured employees on return to work, including in a restricted capacity, to avoid extended leaves when possible.
- Tracks and records injuries according to OSHA requirements and ensures the OSHA 300 posting is completed accurately and timely.
- Responsible for seeking cost saving ideas within the workplace by promoting a culture of safety.
- Reports monitoring activities as required by accrediting/licensing agencies to MGRMC.
- Creates and implements changes in emergency preparedness policies and procedures as necessary.

- Serves as Chair of the Wellness Committee and ensures a diverse range of employee involvement and commitment to the Committee Charter. The Committee will serve as an advisory body for implantation of Wellness activities.
- Works with the Wellness Vendor to establish an annual Wellness calendar of events with sufficient offerings to allow all staff the opportunity to participate.
- Ensures the Wellness Platform is engaging and promotes the utilization of the tools within the platform.
- Coordinates on-site wellness activities at least quarterly.
- Coordinates and oversees Wellness Challenges.
- Ensures that “Wellness Points” are verified and accurately tracked by the system.
- Provides the Benefits Coordinator with employees eligible to receive Health Plan benefits at the Wellness Premium Rate.

- Coordinates ad hoc meetings with the Workers Compensation carrier and consultants as needed for updates and education.
