About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Government Contract Manager to join our team at MTech Aerospace. As a key member of our contracts department, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with prime contractors and the Department of Defense (DoD), as well as expertise in government contract management, including FAR, DFARS, and compliance audits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead cradle-to-grave contract administration, ensuring full compliance with federal procurement laws.
- Manage the review, negotiation, and execution of customer, subcontractor, vendor, and strategic partner contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to procurement, sales, leases, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with business development and proposal teams to support the preparation and submission of proposals.
- Administer a portfolio of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field.
- 10 years of progressive experience in contracts, procurement, and financial administration/management within the DoD aerospace & defense industry.
- CPCM, CFCM, or DAWIA certification is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
