Job Title: Junior Contracts Administrator
The role of a Junior Contracts Administrator is to support the full lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other federal acquisition regulations. This position involves assisting in contract administration, compliance, and negotiations while coordinating with internal stakeholders to support government and commercial contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and track teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and proprietary information agreements.
- Track and assist in the submission of contract deliverables.
- Assist in performing the setup of projects and contract workforce within the accounting system.
- Maintain contract documentation and reporting in compliance with DCAA and DCMA requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of cost proposals, pricing analyses, and contract bids for new and existing government contracts and subcontracts.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and government procurement processes.
- Experience with Federal Government contract administration involving all contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, T&M, IDIQ Task/Delivery Order) from contract award to closeout.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple contract administration tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in government contract administration within the aerospace, defense, or DoD contracting industry.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, if required.
