Project Manager

Job Summary

Project Managers must have an innate level of intellectual curiosity about how systems work, as they will assume responsibility for the implementation of M-Tech software products. M-Tech Project Managers are hands-on facilitators, doers, and implementers—they are responsible for the planning of the project, but also the execution of the project.

Reporting to a Project Team Lead, the Project Management position will work as part of a project implementation team and be responsible for actively facilitating the implementation of designated projects for both new and existing clients with a team. Project Managers will be working with data, training users, facilitating meetings, and delivering required project documentation/project plans. This role is also accountable for ensuring that M-Tech software meets the needs of the customer, executing project deliverables on time and within scope while maintaining project budgets.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Manage the scope and schedule for all assigned projects to meet contractual obligations and expectations of the customer.
• Build and maintain project and resource allocation plans to achieve project goals and M-Tech revenue targets.
• Develop, plan, execute and track all project deliverables using M-Tech software applications as directed by the Team Lead.
• Develop risk mitigation plans and measures to ensure project deliverables.
• Document project requirements and test cases as needed for each project deliverable; effectively communicate development requirements to M-Tech teams.
• Train, teach and instruct customers and end users on proper use of the software.
• Host and conduct on-site or remote training sessions, troubleshooting meetings or any other session required to ensure project success.
• Consult with customers on business processes and software modifications as needed.
• Execute and deliver quality project implementations that are on time, on budget and within scope.
• Partner with M-Tech Management and Finance teams to forecast accurate revenue projections based on project milestones; ensure targets are achieved.
• Ensure timely communication with customers.
• Train and develop end users to understand M-Tech’s systems and applications.
• Work cross-functionally within a project team and with other M-Tech departments (development, pro services, data science, etc.).
• Identify, communicate, and solve project related risks and challenges.
  

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Four-year College degree in applicable field required.
• 5-7 years of applicable experience in project management, SaaS solutions and Full Cycle software/systems implementation.
• Proficiency in public speaking, software demonstrations and presentations.
• Experience with application integrations, MS Excel, and other relevant data applications.
• Excellent Planning and organizational skills.
• Exceptional Analytical skills, deductive reasoning ability and proven proficiency with technical environments.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of or experience with animal agriculture and/or poultry is a bonus.

Travel and Commute Requirements

• Up to 40% of domestic and international travel is required by project schedules.
• Regular presence (2-3 days/week) to M-Tech offices in North Atlanta.
