The ideal Physical Medicine Referral Coordinator
is a physical therapy professional with excellent communication and follow up skills.

Your core responsibilities
- Monitors dates of service and status of files to confirm successful completion of services using various communication methods.
- Requests documents from therapy Provider.
- Uploads documents to MTI360.
- Reconciles file issues for timely billing.
- Provides customer service via various communication methods to establish and coordinate medical services/products.
- Effectively communicates with both internal and external customers to ensure all referral needs are met in a timely manner, inclusive of recurring treatment and services.
- Consistently works with attention given to specific carrier/patient/customer preferences, guidelines and service level agreements.
- Follows internal escalation process when service agreements and/or customer satisfaction is at risk.

Minimum must-haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have 2 years’ minimum experience with medical terminology.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills required.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented, communicate effectively and have the ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
