As our Personal Lines Account Manager, you will provide essential support to the Personal Lines Department by performing the following essential duties. This position is at Home Loan Insurance office, a division of Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services.
Performance Expectations / Responsibilities :
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all carrier and agency change procedures, as well as industry specifics.
- Regularly review daily, weekly, and monthly reports provided by the department manager related to data maintenance in the Agency Management System.
- Effectively manage follow-ups generated in the Agency Management System.
- Cultivate and sustain quality relationships with carriers and coworkers.
- Ensure accurate documentation is maintained in the Agency Management System.
- Adhere to agency procedures and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Attend mandatory agency meetings and external functions, seminars, and conferences.
- Acquire the required insurance license and complete necessary continuing education to maintain license eligibility.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with coworkers and management.
- Document the processing of policy changes, cancellations, and claim payments.
- Review the expiration report for the department to address any missed or inactive policies and client accounts.
- Perform additional functions as assigned by management.
