ELA Tutor for 8-Year-Old (3rd Grade)
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic **ELA (English Language Arts) Tutor** to work one-on-one with an 8-year-old 3rd grader. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a patient demeanor, and the ability to create engaging lessons tailored to the student's needs.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide tutoring sessions focused on 3rd-grade ELA skills, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development.
- Help build confidence in reading fluency and understanding.
- Assist with homework assignments and test preparation as needed.
- Incorporate fun, interactive activities to keep the student engaged.
- Track progress and provide feedback to parents.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged children, specifically in ELA.
- Strong understanding of 3rd-grade curriculum and standards.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to develop creative and individualized lesson plans.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience.

Sessions will be held in-person
