Job Summary
The Ground Support Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of ground support equipment used in aviation operations. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure that all machinery operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance and a solid understanding of mechanical systems. You will be welding, building, using torch, cutting saw, and more.
CNC OPERATOR NEEDED
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, including but not limited to tugs, forklifts.
- Know how to use a CNC machine
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and minimize downtime.
- Assist in the training of new mechanics on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Need to know how to weld and be a problem solver
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or similar fields. We so Airplanes
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Previous experience in aviation ground support or related industries is preferred but not required.
