What you will do- to start…
- Balance daily bank deposits and resolve sales variances with store team members.
- Collaborate with stores on other accounting transactions such as paid outs.
- Partner with your fellow accounting Muddies on coding, entering and processing of accounts payable.
- Review weekly check runs to ensure payments are accurate based on documentation and support.
- Assist on special projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Details
- Hours and location. The Accounting Specialist I position is a full-time, hourly position based out of our Home Office in Olympia with the availability for 3-4 days per week remote.
- Compensation. Starting wage will be non-exempt between $26.84 - $40.26 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Benefits. This position is eligible for Mud Bay’s standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision; Mud Bay’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP); staff discount on Mud Bay purchases; 401k available; funds employee contributes to 401k are matched with a contribution into Mud Bay’s ESOP once eligible.
