What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Assistant position at Mud Pie, LLC.?
The Procurement Assistant supports the Supply Chain team through strong organizational and time management skills. This position works closely with many internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service as well as our overseas sourcing agents. The Procurement Assistant is accountable for the merchandise flow including but not limited to the item setup, purchase order placement, vendor communication, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable working independently, and willing/able to learn and adapt to changing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- :Issue purchase orders for imported products to meet customer demand
- sMonitor shipment status and escalate problem
- sMaintain dates in system and follow up on open purchase order repor
- tGenerate reports on inventory and vendor performanc
- ePreserve item maintenance through weekly comparisons and update
