Job title : Specialist Engineer
Job duties :
- Analyzes business needs and translates them into functional, non-functional and / or technical specifications.
- Collaborate with resources to ensure all system design requirements adequately reflect the defined business processes and fully support all components of the functional business requirements.
- Research complex issues and collaborate with engineering teams to determine effective resolutions.
- Perform updates and ongoing maintenance to client workflow configurations based on client needs and requirements.
- Participate in identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes that minimize errors and promote scalability.
- Product testing using the latest cutting-edge technologies like Selenium, JUnit's, and other testing frameworks.
- Write test cases to satisfy manual testing and ensure nearly 100% coverage in testing each module.
- Perform the following types of tests like modular testing, Data driven testing, functional testing, Behavior driven testing etc.
- Document and track test cases and ensure the code is fixed form bugs generated from test cases.
- Track and raise bugs to environmental teams and work with DevOps teams to get the issue fixed.
- Ensure Quality in product delivered and perform performance testing on both product and environment.
- Test the RAM and CPU usage testing for the operating system involved.
- Experience working in different ticketing systems like JIRA etc. (Creating backlogs, creating EPIC / User stories, maintaining the board etc.)
- Provide guidance and technical support to team members.
- Conduct training sessions on the latest business and domain understanding that are in the market and how effectively we can utilize these concepts.
- Perform a demo on solutions and show its utilization in the product that we are working on.
- Understands the business functionality and technical specifications of Electronic Health Record application(s) and interfaces.
- Maintains working knowledge of existing and emerging industry standards and implementation specifications that should be considered to advance the organization's interface capabilities, including HL7, LOINC, SNOMED, etc.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare medical group business areas (clinical, operations, care management).
- Preferred background of working with medical claims / pharmacy claims data and understanding of prescription claims adjudication and PBM platforms
- Experience with data interchange files. X12, HL7, NCPDP.
- Experience with EMR / clinical systems (EPIC, Centricity, Meditech)
Degree Requirement : This position requires, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
Work Schedule : Full Time, 40 Hours / Week
