We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!
Open position is located in East Bridgewater MA
We have opportunities on the following shifts:
1st Shift 7:00 am-3:30 pm
2nd Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and facility systems (e.g., HVAC, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems).
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related challenges.
Installation & Upgrades:
- Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during installations.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to prevent workplace injuries.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated on new technologies and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications Required
5 years' experience in maintenance or as a mechanic
Detail oriented with strong documentation skills
Project management experience with leadership capability
The ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills
Communicate effectively with other team members and facility leadership
Follow instructions and established procedures
Must be able to communicate and read in English.
Must have transportation
Must be willing to work overtime
