Duties:
- Manage the daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and production.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards for food, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering, ensuring that all food and supplies are available when needed.
- Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer concerns and addressing any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize operations.
- Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring that staffing levels are adequate to meet customer demands while maintaining profitability.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, production, and presentation.
- Strong understanding of cash handling.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and management systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
