The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Perform credit analysis on corporate loans subject to MUFG's review and approval.
- Recommend approval terms including initial asset valuation and any subsequent individual credit based custom valuation.
- Identify high risk credits by performing periodic review of borrowing base files and accompanying loan tape (at least monthly).
- Review identified high risk credits, including those subject to potential markdown and present the analysis to SSU front office team and second line risk constituents.
- Keep track of the latest developments and market trends in the corporate credit space (both public and private) and provide periodic updates,
- Perform periodic review of the performance of individual loan portfolio financing transactions as well as the loan portfolio financing book as a whole and escalate key findings.
- Make recommendations on new transaction opportunities based on manager due diligence and transaction specific investment strategy, recommendations shall include financial metrics for auto-eligible assets, concentration limits by industry, and other structural features as applicable.
- Educate other Global Structured Solutions staff on fundamentals of corporate credit analysis and valuation, including training of new hires and junior staff

The typical base pay range for this role is between $150K - $170K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and / or incentive compensation.
