The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Position Summary:
This individual will be the Head of ABS Syndicate and will work with Flow and Non-Flow ABS issuers, investors, sales, trading and the banking teams to execute Flow and Non-Flow ABS capital markets transactions. This individual will also act as the staffer for the Non-Flow ABS team and contribute to the origination and execution of Non-Flow ABS capital markets transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Market and syndicate Flow and Non-Flow ABS capital markets new issuance transactions
- Work with the ABS banking team to educate the sales force and investors on Flow and Non-Flow ABS capital markets transactions
- Identify potential new investors for Flow and Non-Flow ABS capital markets transactions via detailed investment analysis and investor communication
- Work with trading to support secondary trading of ABS to ensure seamless execution of Flow and Non-Flow ABS capital markets transactions
- Coordinate and conduct deal and non-deal related roadshows
- Provide back-up syndicate support for CLO new issue, reset, refi transactions as needed
- Maintain thorough understanding of the ABS and CLO markets and investor landscape
- Manage and mentor Flow ABS syndicate and junior syndicate colleagues
- Help manage, mentor and staff Non-Flow ABS team members on projects and transactions
- Contribute to the origination and execution of Non-Flow ABS capital markets transactions
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- A minimum of 15 years of prior of syndication or related experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
- Strong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment
- A pro-active, motivated approach
- The ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordingly
- A creative and innovative approach to work
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
The typical base pay range for this role is between $325K - $400K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
