JOB SUMMARY : Assist the Business Manager with the daily Business Office operations,
including tax collection, accounting, payroll, accounts payable / receivable, procurement, etc., for
the development of monthly and annual financial reports submitted for Board approval and
subject to audit.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist the Business Manager with monitoring current year budgets and
developing and implementing budgets for the forthcoming fiscal year.

QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance or a related field required.
Three (3) years minimum experience in public school finance and / or other governmental accounting related experience preferred.
Knowledge of governmental fund accounting and Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles.
Demonstrated skills in computer technology and financial software applications.
Leadership and supervisory skills.
Submission of pre-employment medical examination (Section 148 of the Pennsylvania School Code).
Submission of a report of criminal history record from the Pennsylvania State Police (Section 111 of the Pennsylvania School Code).
Submission of a clearance report from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare in accordance with Act 151 of 1994.
Submission of the FBI Criminal History Record in accordance with Act 114 of 2006
Submission of sexual misconduct / abuse disclosure release form in accordance with Act 168 of 2014.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
