Duties and Responsibilities
Respond promptly to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically Setup hardware to be used by personnel Configure software to be used by personnel Follow documented task and processes as assigned Seek new methods or improvements to documented task Work with technicians, engineers and developers to understand deeper technical challenges Record details of business processes, needs and wants Communicate and coordinate with internal IT departments personnel Stay current with system security practices, changes and updates
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Knowledge of basic IT technical support skills. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information. • Ability to function effectively under time-critical circumstances. • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven business • Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization • Bilingual German/Spanish a plus
