About us

Mulcahy's is a Long Island landmark that was first opened in 1965. Over the years, and through many expansions, it has grown into a premier concert venue attracting top tier talent. Besides concerts, Mulcahy's has a robust catering department and many inbound calls are related to inquiries for private parties. This is a fast-paced environment that will keep you on your toes, there is always room for growth in the organization as well.

Responsibilities associated with receptionist duties include:

· Answering incoming calls

· Taking messages

· Directing calls to the correct personnel/department

· Checking voicemails and returning missed calls

· Answering general questions about the business

Other duties include:

· Booking VIP table reservations

· Assisting with Football/Concert Tailgate inquiries

· General office tasks

· Checking office supply inventory, ordering new supplies and distributing supplies as needed

· Answering the intercom and granting facility access to clients

The receptionist is the first person reached when clients call with issues or concerns. They need to remain calm, acknowledge concerns, and resolve issues or direct them to the correct party for resolution while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. It is also critically important for our receptionist to show professionalism in maintaining client and personnel confidentiality.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
