Responsibilities :
Plan, organize, staff, administer and direct a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under direction of DON.
Oversee the nursing components of the patient admission process, including patient assessment, documentation, and preparation for care
Ensure that all admission paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently, including medical history, consent forms, and insurance details
Conduct initial patient assessments and ensure that all necessary information is collected and reviewed prior to admission
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain the admissions process, answer questions, and address concerns
Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care / related services for residents in accordance with their care plan
Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants
QUALIFICATIONS :
At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment; most of which should be in a management role.
A passion for caring for and improving the lives of our residents
Current RN License
Ability to Administer Medication and IV certification
Good Working knowledge of State Rules / Regulations
Positive Can-Do Attitude and Excellent Attendance
