Are you a skilled and dependable hardscape/landscape professional with a strong work ethic? Do you have experience in all aspects of hardscape construction and leadership on the job site? We want YOU to join our dynamic team as a Hardscape/Landscape Foreman!
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership: Take charge of a team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations on every project.
- Expertise in Hardscape & Landscape: You’re well-versed in different types of base installations (traditional, permeable, raised structure, and synthetic), and know the ins and outs of hardscape construction.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure every project is perfectly executed—whether it's laying pavers, setting screed bars, or installing edging. You’ll consistently check for square, level, and finish.
- Communication Skills: Interact with clients and team members, ensuring that questions are addressed and any issues are resolved early. Keep the Project Manager updated on materials used and project progress.
- Bilingual (Preferred): Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus, as communication with diverse teams and clients is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Set Up & Grade: Read site drawings and use a transit to establish accurate grades.
- Prepare & Install: Set screed bars, compact areas, and lay pavers or slabs according to design specifications.
- Quality Control: Keep track of square, level, and pattern consistency throughout the job. Ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Leadership: Plan daily tasks, delegate work to Laborers and Installers, and keep the team on track.
- Material Management: Report materials used, help organize deliveries, and ensure the correct materials are on-site.
- Client Interaction: Maintain open communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Project Management Skills (A Plus): Experience in overseeing multiple projects or managing project schedules is a bonus.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hardscape and landscape construction.
- Ability to read and understand both commercial and residential plans.
- Proficiency with tools like table saws, demo saws, and compactors.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to run all types of equipment including: full size track machine, mini skidloader, excavators. Ability to operate a tilt rotator is a huge plus.
- Clean driving record required. CDL is major plus and compensation will be adjusted accordingly.
- Bilingual (Preferred): Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply.
- Project Management Skills (Preferred): Experience coordinating and managing projects is a plus.
