Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape design, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks, including hardscape and greenscape installation.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the landscaping crew to ensure efficient workflow.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of landscape features, including plants, trees, and pavers.
• Maintain gardens by performing tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
• Conduct regular inspections of groundskeeping work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train team members on best practices in landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Manage the upkeep of tools and equipment used for landscaping projects.
• Coordinate and secure project supplies and materials.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape management or a related field is essential.
• Strong background in supervising teams and leading projects effectively.
• Knowledge of horticulture practices, including plant care, installation, and lawn maintenance.
• Familiarity with groundskeeping techniques and tree care is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• Ability to build strong relationships within the team while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Good driving record
• Drug-free workplace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
