Administrative/Executive Assistant
Mulhern & Scott is a boutique law firm located five minutes from the heart of downtown Portsmouth. We are seeking a highly motivated administrative/executive assistant who thrives in a face-paced work environment to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain/manage calendars for three (3) lawyers
- Provide administrative support for attorneys and paralegals
- Answer and screen calls; Forward calls and relay/follow up on messages
- Prepare correspondence including emails, memos, meeting notes, and letters
- Keep physical premises cleanly and in client-appropriate condition
- Greet clients
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Handle and file legal documents in accordance with best practices
- Create Excel spreadsheets
- Order office supplies and take inventory
- Coordinate event planning, including office functions
Experience:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook (Required)
- Administrative background (Preferred)
Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
- Organizational skills including but not limited to time management, prioritization, careful attention to detail, etc.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with proven capacity to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00
