Job Description
Muller Engineering Company is seeking qualified candidates for its Traffic Engineering / Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Group at the design engineer level. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled individual who wishes to be part of our expanding team. We are seeking candidates who want to work in a creative and collaborative environment to help deliver Muller's numerous transportation projects throughout Colorado
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist with traffic operations and safety projects including traffic signal timing, microsimulation modeling, multimodal planning, and safety studies
- Design and develop signal and marking plans, construction traffic control plans, and ITS plans (plus other potential traffic-related design work) for transportation facilities, including interstates, interchanges, urban arterials, rural roadways, and multimodal facilities
- Assist mid-level and senior engineers in preparation of studies, reports, and design packages for a wide variety of traffic engineering and ITS projects.
- Perform field observation work when necessary.
- Other Duties as assigned
