Job Summary
The Personal Lines Account Manager works under the direction of the General Manager, to provide Personal Lines support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing accounts. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. Candidates must be highly motivated and detail-oriented. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills and must be outcome-oriented. Only local candidates will be considered. Once training is completed and management feels employee is ready, employee will be allowed to work remote two days a week on a scheduled day.

Responsibilities
imary Responsibilities:
Screen and process all Personal Lines applications, obtaining complete information from client.
Review all applications, renewal requests, and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines.
Process and solicit Personal Lines renewals on behalf of the sales agent.
Handle client requests and solicit improved or additional coverages on behalf of the producer.
Prepare and/or authorize ID cards for Auto clients when necessary.
Initiate, screen, and prepare endorsement requests on Personal Lines.
Handle mortgagee requests and inquiries by telephone and/or letter.
Assist the producer and Accounting Department with collections and process cancellation requests.
Rate and compute endorsement, cancellation, additional, or return premiums.
Review company-produced policies and endorsements for accuracy.
Keep up to date on rate, form, and coverage changes through bulletins and circulars, and maintain all Personal Lines manuals and rate books.
Compute and type premium finance contracts as needed.
Take claim reports and maintain claim files on clients handled.
Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
Perform Other Duties As Required.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Must have at least a 440 license and be willing to obtain a 220 agent license within the 1st
year of employment

Experience:
Property & Casualty Insurance: 3 years (Required) (Home, auto, umbrella, boat, motorcycle coverages)
License/Certification:
Property & Casualty License (220) (Required). 440 license is ok, with the understanding that a 220 license will need to be obtained within the first year of employment. The agency will pick up the cost for the class for the 220
