Overview
We are a busy Orthopedic and Chiropractic office in Vero Beach, FL seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining records confidentiality, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and smooth operations
- Handle patient check-ins, verify insurance information, and general clerical duties, such as filing, scanning and emailing documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience
- Proficient in using office equipment and software (e.g., phone systems, scheduling software and EMR)
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred
- Experience with insurance verification and handling patient records
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
