Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician to support the Community Manager and maintenance team with repairs, upkeep, and general maintenance of the property. This role is essential in ensuring that the property remains in top condition for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Community Manager with general maintenance and repairs of the property, including grounds, pool, HVAC, appliances, and exterior & interior upkeep.
* Support apartment make-ready processes, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
* Perform routine maintenance repairs on apartments and office areas.
* Handle grounds upkeep and maintenance as assigned.
* Assist with the repair and upkeep of amenities & common areas.
* Complete daily work orders and perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
* Schedule vendors, order necessary supplies, and maintain an organized maintenance shop.
* Help with work orders, emergency repairs, and special projects as assigned.
* Maintain cleanliness of the Leasing Office and other common spaces.
* Provide excellent customer service to residents, answering maintenance-related inquiries when appropriate.
Qualifications:
✔Previous maintenance experience in multifamily housing, property management, or a related field preferred.
✔Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
✔Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
✔Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
✔Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
✔Must be reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
