Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
Location: Bronx, Westchester, Upper Manhattan, Northern Manhattan
Portfolio: Up to 3 Properties | 220 Units
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with occasional evening meetings (1-2 times per month)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing, co-ops, and condominiums . This role is perfect for a detail-oriented leader who thrives in resident relations, team management, and operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage up to 3 properties (220 units), ensuring efficient operations and resident satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise onsite staff, including Superintendents and Porters, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Site Visits: Conduct weekly property visits to ensure maintenance, compliance, and resident concerns are addressed.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all properties meet New York State affordable housing regulations and maintain compliance with housing programs.
- Financial & Budget Management: Work within approved budgets, oversee expenses, and ensure financial stability of the properties.
- Resident & Board Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, co-op boards, and condo associations, addressing concerns and implementing property improvements.
- Hiring & Staffing: Assist in recruiting and onboarding onsite maintenance teams as needed.
- Meetings & Reporting: Attend monthly or bi-monthly evening board meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in affordable housing, co-op, or condominium management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and interact with residents and boards.
- Understanding of New York State affordable housing regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks efficiently.
