We are seeking an experienced, reliable Legal Assistant to join our well-established, multi-attorney personal injury firm in the San Fernando Valley. Compensation package $65,000 - $75,000.
Legal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Work directly with assigned attorney on all aspects of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation files
- Manage pre-litigation files
- Regular contact with clients, insurance adjusters and health care providers
- Request medical records and billing
- Review Correspondence
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as fielding phone calls and scheduling meetings
- Maintain a detailed calendar
- Maintain and organize files; update files with case status and information
