Position Summary
The Director of Nursing for Behavioral Health Network provides leadership for planning, management, implementation, integration and coordination of the clinical objectives: patient experience, clinical operational safety, and clinical operations in support of facility goals dedicated to excellence, effective leadership, and financial stability. The Director provides in-depth development, analysis, and implementation of nursing and patient care services using evidence-based practices to drive development decisions all within and/or meeting approved budget, schedule, and quality standards and support clinical leadership/operational needs as vacancies arise. The Director coordinates with clinical leaders, senior level sponsors, stakeholders, and effectively works in partnership with community and system partners to successfully develop, grow, implement and maintain the nursing/clinical care standards.Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.
This position participates in on-call rotation and may need to be available for after-hour consults.
Requirements
Master’s degree in nursing
Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) eligible required; CPHQ within 1 year of placement in job
Certification as PMH-BC, LRM, LNC, etc. preferred
Eight (8) years of experience and mastery of professional or technical role/function required, specific to psychiatry
Three (3) years of clinical operations in hospital or clinical, and/or quality management and risk experience required including regulatory survey preparation and standards compliance
Meets the qualifications to be Mental Health Professional in the State of Washington

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $146,266.00 - $202,010.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
