FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Regular Position Summary The Solutions Architect is responsible for being an expert in technology and developing creative solutions to drive our current strategies forward. The Architects will work closely with operations, our leadership team, peers from other applications, vendor technical teams, and our clients, to drive internal and external proactive solutions. Additional key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of programs/projects that fall within defined realms for each of the Architects. The Architects will be the system experts we bring to executive and client meetings as necessary to speak to new solutions and demonstrate our system expertise. Overall, Architects must have a passion for change and identifying better ways to do things. In-depth system knowledge and a deep understanding of operations are musts for this team. Innovation is a primary objective of anyone serving in this capacity. The Epic Architect will be responsible for helping to grow a part of a revenue generating service line. S/he must be an effective communicator and independent worker who will be an industry leader in changing how healthcare technology is configured, delivered, and supported. A strong knowledge and record of success with implementing and supporting assigned technology areas is a must. The Architect is expected to spend time within our and our partners’ facilities and critical areas to maintain a firm understanding of operations to ensure development of and implemented solutions solve the core ask/issue. This team should be developing solutions before our clients/partners even know there is a problem. Travel will be as necessary to support various departmental initiatives. Again, to be successful within our department the architect should have a passion for innovation and revolutionizing healthcare. Requirements BA/BS in computer science/information technology, healthcare administration, or related field required; Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree Current certification, accreditation, or proficiency in all modules assigned to application quadrant is required within three months of start date Microsoft Office Proficiency Professional experience in the information services and/or health care industries Epic Application Certification/Accreditation/Proficiency in at least three applications preferred Experience with Epic’s ongoing programs (Honor Roll, Stars, Connect Accreditation, etc.) preferred Experience with different client segments (academic, for profit, not for profit, community, etc.) is preferred Experience with quarterly, single, and double upgrades is preferred Operational experience is preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $130,957.00 - $180,835.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
