What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Teacher 6-8 Grade position at Multicultural Learning Center?
We are looking for a Spanish Teacher with a passion for bilingual education and social justice. This individual will join a successful team of educators at a K-8 public charter school focused on the development of biliterate and globally and social-emotionally competent scholars. Candidates will demonstrate experience in constructivist teaching methodology, project-based learning, restorative behavior practices and classroom management, collaboration with others, social-emotional learning, and language acquisition. The Multicultural Learning Center (MLC) is a TK-8 dual language public charter school with the mission to bring together a diverse community of learners where cultural and individual differences are the building blocks of academic, social, and intrapersonal success. Skills and Qualifications:
Valid California Teaching Credential
English Learner (EL) Authorization and Spanish Bilingual Authorization
Fluency in both English and Spanish and academic level vocabulary and syntax expertise in both languages
