What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at Multifamily Management, Inc.?
This position will assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Service Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities. Pay depends on experience.
Quarterly Bonuses up to $500
Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis:
- Electrical and plumbing (including water lines).
- General Carpentry
- A/C and heating systems.
- Appliances (when applicable).
- Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings.
- Tile, carpet, flooring.
- Roofing, gutters, fasteners.
- Interior/exterior lights.
- Fireplaces, ceiling fans.
- Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable)
- Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors
- Boiler, gas and electric
- Door locks, P.O. boxes and locks
- Ceiling leaks
- Foundations/sidewalks/concrete
- General pool maintenance
- Walls
- Pool areas, tile, Jacuzzi, pool furniture
Requirements:
- Must have own tools
- HVAC certification a plus!!
- Position requires at least 1 year experience in apartment maintenance.
Education:
- The ability to read and write at high school or equivalent level. Certification from a known trade school and or HVAC Certification is preferred.
