What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Multifamily Operator?
Looking for a PT Maintenance technician (approximately 20 hours per week) to perform various maintenance duties at our mobile home parks in Valdosta,GA.
Handles service requests for repairs and improvements of rental units, landscaping, and maintenance of common areas, and rehab/make ready for vacant mobile homes in preparation for sale. Knowledge of ACs, plumbing, and electrical are a plus. Works as a team participant with the Property Manager, Regional Manager and Director of Operations to ensure the communities meet the quality maintenance standards set by the Company.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
SKILLS & EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Trade school, and/or military training a plus. One to five years of hands-on maintenance experience (i.e. A/c troubleshoot/repair, drywall, plumbing, electrical, carpeting, and painting, etc.) is required. Must have own tools and own insurance. Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment. A valid driver's license along with a good driving record and auto insurance is required.
The responsibilities also include managing routine and emergency maintenance repairs, fixing machinery or equipment, plumbing, cooling & heating, wiring & electrical work, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, lawn care and maintenance, evaluating and scheduling significant repairs, and property inspections.
