What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Multifeeder Technology, Inc. DBA MFT Automation?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform statistical sampling, incoming, final inspection, and non-conforming product QC inspections in accordance with SOP determined criteria.
- Timely and accurate incoming inspections – dimensional and visual.
- Document, compile, and maintain appropriate QC documentation including records, databases, audits, and inspection logs.
- Communicate inspection results and status to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Procurement teams as applicable.
- Read/interpret CAD drawing schematics and technical documents including but not limited to tolerances, dimensions, geometric dimensions and tolerance, and component values.
- Use of inspection equipment such as but not limited to calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, thread gauges, bore gauges, height gauges, Rockwell hardness tester, and multi-meters.
- Work off detailed drawings as well as in a paperless environment.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and/or Experience:
- Requires 5 years of QC training and / or Experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary.
- Proficiency in drawing/specification interpretation.
- Ability to review and understand third party standards from ASME, ANSI, SAE, NAS, MIL, etc.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Ability to use a wide variety of manual, pneumatic, and electronic inspection tools efficiently and in a safe manner.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles. 5S best practice knowledge and experience a plus.
- Exceptional reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
