Job Description: Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician III

Location: Chariton, IA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team in Chariton, IA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for a wide range of biomedical equipment in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on a variety of biomedical equipment, including but not limited to, patient monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and ventilators.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems with biomedical equipment and develop effective solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards, including but not limited to, FDA, JCAHO, and ISO.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including service reports, inventory, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with other members of the service team to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, computer systems, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
