What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-12 EL/ESL Teacher position at Multiple?
Position: K-12 EL/ESL Teacher (English Learners)
Qualifications:
- Possess or be eligible for a valid Michigan teaching certificate with an NS endorsement or YA-YT Endorsement for the areas being taught.
- Meet highly qualified requirements for EL.
- Able to assess and document student progress
- Professional in personal conduct and actions
- Excellent communication skills
Duties:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Working knowledge of EL standards and WIDA standards.
- Ability to link instruction and assessments to learning targets and state standards.
- Ability to use formative assessments to inform instruction
- Create, deliver, and grade assessments/assignments as needed
- Ability to utilize effective instructional strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction
- Must be able to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum
- Travel between buildings throughout district to service students across grades pre K-12.
- Maintain required documentation and program compliance for audit purposes.
- Provide whole group and small group instruction
- Collaborate with EL Director ? Perform other duties as assigned.
Rate of Pay: Per CEA Contract
