General Summary
Assembles machines, equipment, and their sub-assemblies following prints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Follows assembly procedures and specifications
Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts
Drills, taps, or reams holes
Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together
Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement
Reads and understands prints and wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
Reads and understands hydraulic schematics. Able to follow the approved installation process of various hydraulic components
Safely operates band saw safely
Safely operates scissor lift table
Safely operates hoist as needed
Pay careful attention and use care when handling machinery and equipment
Performs other duties that may be assigned
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Hydraulic Assembler I
Prepare radiators, retardant tongs, cowlings, fuel tanks EHTX panels and platforms.
Install blades, thrust collars and stabilizer rings
Assemble drive motors, prep steering cylinder and pitch cylinder
Prepare frame
Install bottom end assembly, install steering cylinder and pitch cylinder
Install belly pans and blind nuts
Install fittings, heat exchangers, finish installing steering cylinder
Number and install the hoses
Other models install retardant, water hoses, and hydraulic oil filters
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
Hands-on mechanical experience and general understanding of hydraulic systems preferred; High School or GED.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction; measure in feet and inches.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to operate hand tools & air powered tools.
Ability to operate hoist.

- Pay wage: $21/hr ( $2/hr Swing Shift Bonus)
- Shift: Day Shift (5am-3:30pm) Swing Shift (3pm-1:30am)
