Shipping Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee our shipping operations and ensure efficient and accurate delivery of products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of goods, optimizing shipping procedures, and leading a team to meet our operational goals.

Duties ·

• Manage a shipping team of 3-4 employees.
• Prepare and finalize chillers for shipment
• Communicate with vendors and shipping staff scheduling of shipments and changes to shipments.
• Communicate with various departments to ensure all orders are processed efficiently.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues.
• Operate warehouse equipment.
• Supervise daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment

Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in related field.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe experience
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and multitasking skills
• Desire to learn
• Proficiency in inventory control techniques to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Familiarity with e-commerce operations and their impact on shipping processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading shipments.
• Proven track record of process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
