Responsibilities for the following areas:
Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables, to determine personnel, material requirements, or priorities.
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary for production demands.
Arrange for inter-department transfers and delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
Work cross functionally with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.
Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, transportation, employee schedules, or purchase, maintenance, or repair orders.
Creating and maintaining manufacturing routers.
Maintaining manufacturing Bills of Material.
Importing and maintain monthly sales forecasts.
Updating / modifying manufacturing work orders.
Researching, analyzing, and correcting inventory record inaccuracies.
Run the Global Shop Work Order Generator for scheduling.
Serve as primary analyst during annual physical inventory.
Execute projects as assigned by Director of Operations.
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
Qualifications:
Must have 2 years of experience in manufacturing production scheduling within metals.
Must have a bachelor's degree.
