TOWN OF DEERFIELD, NEW HAMPSHIRE

The Town of Deerfield, NH (pop 5100), is seeking an experienced professional to serve as its next Town Administrator. Deerfield is centrally located with an easy drive to most of the major urban areas of Southern NH, as well as the Lakes Region, the White Mountains and the Atlantic coast. Deerfield is situated between two NH State Parks and is home to Pleasant Lake and a charming town beach. Just 65 miles north of Boston, the community’s rural charm belies its proximity to all of the resources of the neighboring City of Manchester. Working under the direction of a 5-member Board of Selectmen, the Town Administrator coordinates the delivery of a full array of town services and manages the day-to-day affairs of the Town. With an FY 24 operating budget of $4.4M, the Town has approximately 33 full-time employees. College Degree, 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in municipal administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities may also be considered.
