Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to lead the development of DFMEA, PFMEA, Quality Plan, and Control Plan. This role involves interfacing with our customer, the manufacturing contractor, and our internal team to ensure seamless progress. The ideal candidate must possess a strong quality background to effectively handle multiple parties and their specific requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of DFMEA, PFMEA, Quality Plan, and Control Plan.
- Interface with the customer, manufacturing contractor, and internal team to drive projects forward.
- Address issues in the defense space related to the manufacturability of parts, including material availability and GD&T standards.
- Effectively communicate and manage quality control aspects in relation to defense projects.
Essential Skills
- Strong background in quality engineering.
- Proficiency in DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Experience with Quality Control and Control Plans.
- Ability to interface effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of supplier quality management.
- Experience in the defense industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a security clearance.
- Ability to travel to company or client sites as required.
