Job Description:
We are hiring a Skid Steer Operator to assist our paving crew. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a team-oriented environment. You'll play a key role in preparing and completing paving projects while learning valuable construction skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently to assist with paving and site preparation.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as raking asphalt, shoveling materials, and cleaning job sites.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and basic maintenance on the skid steer.
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a skid steer or similar equipment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to handle physical labor in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- A proactive and dependable work ethic with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
